Default castrol syntrax in type-r?

As above.. is this ok in a V5 type-r?

I think should be fine as it's - correct me if I'm wrong - 75w90, semi-synthetic?

I use Millers 75W90 Fully Synthetic gear oil in my Type R

I've only ever used Syntrax in my 96 STI RA and so far no problems... Mine is actually getting another change next wkend.

Syntrax is very good stuff... I have used it in most of my cars and all the evos i have owned

used it in both my wrxs. not had a problem. in fact its great for fixing syncro problems

Improved my box no end and mine has been damaged (needs TLC next year)...3rd no longer cruches and 5th does but only and flat out changes...used to crunch all the time for both.
