Question Removing rear drive shafts

Hi there,

Im trying to remove the rear drives shafts from the hubs on a classic uk turbo and im having a real problem getting it apart!

I've got the rear discs, calipers and axel bolt off and I cant see anything else that could possibly be stopping this coming off. I have given it a good whack with hammer and it doesnt seem to have budged. i have jiggled he rear diff out so there is plenty of space for them to "fall" out. I'm having the same problem with both sides...so......

what am i doing wrong??

Give a bigger whack. I've had mine out. Undo the Nut in the middle of the hub and then smack it. mine wasn't that hard to come out to be honest.
