Novice owner/racer - diff question
Guy's,
After a couple of years doing the odd track day I have decided to enter a race series and have recently purchased a race prepared WRX classic, The car is a work in progress but the current spec matches my limited driving ability and hopefully the car can develop along with my racing skills.
During a recent track day I found I was never using 5th gear, even along the straight and I'm sure this isn't a very efficient situation. The car is currently running with a standard turbo diff and I presume a shorter ratio WRX diff would suit better.
My question, can I just replace the rear diff to a WRX spec one, or do I need to also change the front diff to match?
Thanks
