P1/STi box isn't any stronger than the box you already have, just different ratios. Get your box rebuilt by a decent firm. UK box should be ale to put up with 300lbft of torque.

A recon exchange box from us is £750.00 + VAT with a 6 months / 6000 miles warranty. If that helps. It'll take your level of power all day long.

David,
Can you just shed abit of light on what the STI Box can take without dangering it?? you hear lots of different stories about these boxes, for example, there,s one guy on here been running 370ft/lb through his for over 2 yrs,.
I guess it,s a case of how the driver threats it too??

Torque is the killer, anything above 400 ft lbs and you are on borrowed time.

Nothing Ash, I have a damaged JDM one with a problem centre diff that I am waiting to find a sensibly priced centre diff for.
That's it and nothing on the horizon at the moment.
