Question 2 Wheel Drive!!!

Bought an Imprezza to replace Alfasud (33 16v 4-cam) in Mid-Engined self designed composite GT car (see CKC magazine March & April 2008). Planning to disconnect propshaft so it can 'freewheel', but wonder about effect on the gearbox's viscous coupling. Maybe no problem as it's effectively 'downstream' of the prop take-off point? Perhaps I can lock up/remove (solid bypass) this device, particularly if it saps any power from the transmission? I'm cpable of stripping the box, but maybe it won't be necessarry. There don't seem to be any scooby powered kit cars that use the unit in my layout (Murtaya is 4wd.) so I'm on my own here I reckon. Can anyone advise. Thanks guys,

you can weld up the transfer box to have it RWD, not heard of FWD only though. Best bet is to search the US and AUS forums where they do those sort of silly things!
