Unhappy

I have a my99 impreza turbo and I've noticed that when I drive my car hard I start to smell oil and sometimes see a small amount of steam coming from the air scoop on the front of the car. When I checked under the bonet it looks like a small amount of oil has sprayed on to the turbo heat shield and around that area on to the engine. I got the car recently serviced at scoobysport and explained the problem, they thought it might be the copper washers on the turbo oil feed pipe so I got them changed, but it's still happening.
Has anyone had this problem on their car or know what it is.

Have you recently started using Synthetic oils, because my car did the same when I started using sythetics.

I am using the same type of oil since I bought the car about a year ago and I never had the problem then. Did you find out exactly where the oil was coming from?
