Noises with De-CAT Exhaust
#1
I've recently fitted a CATless d/pipe and centre section and I'm now hearing the wonderful and strange noises that this gives...which I understand would happen. However I am getting this constant 'chatter' sound when I slowly apply the throttle, what can this be?? This is before I get the bark' off the backbox (Magnex) @ ~2500-3000rpm. If I back off I get the whistle-pss from the dump-valve, which is okay.
Also should I hear more engines noises, like the piston slap that you get when cold??
Thanks in advance

At a guess the chatter will be your wastegate. Nothing to worry about!!
I know I was worried when I did my exhaust and all these noises suddenly appeared, but there's nothing to worry about it's the turbo and it's ancillaries doing their job!!

Yes it is
At first I thought it was blowing, which was mildly embarrassing since I mentioned it to the guy who'd fitted it Felt a right tit but in my defense I was a bit new to the game then
