Is the downpipe that comes as standard on an MY00 turbo the same as the standard downpipe on a P1?

Alternatively, can the standard P1 downpipe be fitted to a MY00?

Thumbs up

I think it can, but I'm not sure if there is a difference at all anyway, so what would be the gain?

I may be wrong though

IIRC, the P1 is supposed to have a different cat...but anyone who's looked at one reckons it's exactly the same

Yes, but why would you want to?

If you're changing the DP, good time to get a decent one?

The reason is that I currently have an MY00 with a ScoobySport downpipe on, and I (stupidly) didn't ask the chaps at SS to give me my old one back. I am hoping to get a P1, which will require me to sell the old car, and I would rather sell it as "standard" and get the downpipe fitted to the new car. The P1's "standard" pipe would therefore be fitted to the old car.

Hope that all makes sense!

You could always ask Pete if he still has it (or a.n.other standard one) knocking around? (you never know....)

Depends whether the skip's been emptied recently, from what I've heard
