yes mate i have bought one recently 230mm type for my classic it was a genuine one brand new pressed steel with exedy etched into each peice

just a word of addvice do check that the clutch plate and pressure plate have exedy wrote on them and the plate is the size you ordered as he sent me the wrong one the first time told him and he sent another on straight out well pleased but looked at it and it was a recon woooooooo bells were rinnging lol but told him and he then told me that exedy had sent a wrong batch fair enough and he changed again at no cost to me what so ever so after a week i had a brand new 230mm exedy stage 1 3 piece clutch kit well happy all for 165 bargin and fitted it my self even better

Would it have been a bargain had you not of realised that the first plate was the wrong size, and that the replacement plate was a "recon" unit ?

And realistically, you can't get a genuine Exedy "up rated" stage one clutch for £169.00 !

More of a concern, is since when have Exedy Europe been supplying "recon" clutch parts ???

Buyer BEWARE !

Mark.

it is a genuine clutch that i finally received as it was all lazer etched with exedy wrote on each part in an exedy printed box and was all brand new not recon , i think i did try and pull a fast one by sending me a recon as how many of you would recognize a recon to a brand new set . as he said exedy sent wrong batch and he just sent that hopping i wouldent notice but to be fair he came through in the end saving me a few hundred quid so was well worth the wait in my eyes
