Elgordano, cheers for the reply...I'd be up for having a listen if you wouldn't mind sparing 10 mins? One night this week?

how do you rate your TSL BB then? Everyone who's got one rates them pretty highly it seems, I'm having real trouble deciding between Magnex, SS and TSL though.

EVERYONE seems to have a SS BB (well almost), but no-one seems to have a particular reason which puts it above any other manufacturer.

Some have gone from a Magnex to SS, others say TSL is better than SS....arrrghhhhhhhhh!!!!!

I've had std, SS, TSL and driven one with Magnex - think of it like you treat your bass and treble controls on your stereo - a personal choice of noise. There's very little in sound between the SS and TSL, although the TSL sounds a fraction mare 'aggressive'.Both a slightly louder than Magnex.

cheers Blue, you know what? Last night I was after a mangex, 10 mins ago it was SS, now it's TSL because they have better looks than SS apparently, and a slightly harder tone as you said, and slightly cheaper than a SS as well.

hmmmmmm.

ok so it's basically a matter of personal preference as to which sound you want, that's the bottom line you're saying. So all that's left is looks and cost.

magnex cheapest, then TSL, then SS.
looks is probably magnex, TSL, SS.
sound is probably TSL, SS then magnex? subjective i know

TSL don't come third in any of above. if it were points 3, 2, 1.

magnex gets 7, TSL gets 7, SS gets 4.

nooo !

OK Blue, which one did you end up with? Do you recommend the TSL for looks? Is it too loud on the M-Way? Headache inducing? Or just a nice thrum in the background?

Cool

...i'm not sure about the Magnex Alex, but our backbox also has a transferable unlimited lifetime warranty..... so if you swap it to another car or sell it to a third or fourth party it is still guaranteed for materials and workmanship for life!!

hope that helps
