Exhaust manifold from Ebay? 25bhp more??
SUBARU WRX STi IMPREZA TURBO EXHAUST MANIFOLD on eBay, also, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-Jun-08 10:59:51 BST)
anyone tried one of these beauty's on their car & and know if it produces at least 25bhp more?? i am v tempted on purchassing one if true

They have a nasty habit of splitting around the welds...
By cheap, buy twice is the motto in this case. Avoid.
Do a search for Harvey headers- he's a top chap and will sell you kit that with do the job- not split.

They are a strange, manky looking, set up. 25 hp?
There was a problem with early tubular headers that had a 2 bolt fixing to the up pipe. They cracked regularly.
The later version with a 3 bolt up fixing to the up-pipe are MUCH better and also give good power gains. Certainly not 25 hp even when mapped but good gains nonetheless. Not yet changed a set of 3 bolters. Nearly skinted me replacing 2 bolt versions
You don't really need tubular headers until you are in the 380 hp range. Of course you can fit them at any time, BUT, ported standards will work well up to the 380 mark.
We do ported headers as well as Harvey.

we bought headers of ebay and got to say thay r fine, saw the same in a shop and he was charging twice the price but got to say we found no problems with ours
