Question

Anyone know how easy (or difficult!) changing a rear wheel bearing is on a UK 94MY turbo ?

Subaru want 70 GBP + VAT for the bearing plus more for seals - any other sources recommended ?

Thanks

Kurt

Thanks Miller. Do you (or anyone else) know how to fit them? Search is still down or I'd use that to try find more info.

Not sure if they are as easy as my old Fords. I used to bang these out with a copper/hide hammer and a brass drift, then tap the new one in using the shell of the old one.

Kurt, it was REALLY easy to have a bearing fixed on my scoob.

I just gave the keys to my local 'FITTER' and he did all the hard work.

i`m not sure about the rears but you need a press to get the fronts out so i`d guess they were the same.
by the way ,i had a front bearing done, i supplied the bearing and removed the hub carrier and it cost me £5 to have it pressed in.
