Hi,
My car does not seem to idle properly when cold. Its ok once up to temperature.

It is almost like it is about to cut out.

Any ideas ????

Sorry m8 I don't know either. Basically I'm learning symptoms and remedies from this forum. And usually the idling problem you mention is due to the MAF, from what's been posted on here previously.

I don't think a Faulty MAF would cause overboost, but it could cause hesitation I think.

Anyone else like to add to this?

Cheers,

Wrexy

How about the coil packs would this make a difference ?
Its a big problem for me because I dont know where to start also I dont want to start replacing bits that dont need it..!

Or maybe someone could plug something in to my ECU and look for fault codes.
I have been told that this can be done at home but I'm not sure how to do it.
Any help on this would be gratefully received. At least I could start a process of elimination.

Thanks
