New Lambda.......Still 02 fault on select monitor??
#1
I recently had a check engine light come on......
Tok the car to Scoobysport who plugged in the select monitor and faulty 02 (ogygen or lambda sensor) came up.
i preceeded to buy one, fitted it correctly with the gold terminal to the black wire(Bosch) and reset my ecu!!!!
Blasting up to power engineering 2 weeks ago my check engine light came on again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When i got it on the rollers it was once again on 9% C/O on idle
They plugged in the select monitor and hey guess what, the 02 Sensor fault came up.........................
Could i possibly have a wiring problem from the plug to the ecu
Yours.............helpfully

Hi,
Don't know if it helps but....
http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/000041.html
its an old thread though.
I just changed my lambda sensor today, i've had no check engine light on, but very little voltage reading from the sensor (i had my doubts when the Lambdalink stopped showing any lights)
Now the lambdalink is working correctly, so hopefully the fuel is now right.
I suspect your wiring/connections somewhere are at fault (eg. you would get a check engine light if it was unplugged for instance)
Phil.
