Ok Ok before anyone tells me off im not in the habit of launching my car but had it a week now and just thought id give it ago.

launch wise I think i had beginners luck, it absoultely catapulted off the line

Mechanical wise maybe not so good luck as i stopped at a junction and went to pull away in first and had a lot of clutch judder. Another junction about a minute later and rolled off in 2nd and again judder.

Now i know why i do rolling starts or to be honest im not one for traffic light grand prixs but i have managed to fry the clutch with this one off launch

car is an MY03 STi with 30k on the clock.

you would notice clutch slip.

the newage sti clutches do judder when lifted gently when the plate is clean, but under normal driving a build up of material allows the clutch to slip initially, hence no judder.

did my 1st drag launch in about 6 months on sunday, 1st run it stank, after that no issues.

If it is still juddering (my clutch in the Spec C NEVER juddered) you could of hotspotted the flywheel and warped it.
