Trying to Locate another Dawes type device...

Can anyone remember the Web-site that had a Dawes type device made from a big plastic **** type device with some brass nipples attached.
It was built up but some guys for another vehicle (maybe german) and had a list of parts....
Just thinking about building something similar.....

The Autospeed article for the DIY MBC ala aawes & Bleed is interesting.
The first solution used a Pressure relief valve (eg Ball Spring device) & Pressure Regulator (Eg Bleed valve) similar to the some of the Dawes Setups.
For a decent picture see here : http://www.autospeed.com/image.html?...0670_10&REZ=mg
The interesting bit was the ploblem with this solution - The invetor believed that some pressure was being trapped between the regulator and the Wastegate & this resulted in some wastegate creep.
His second solution was therefore to introduce a low pressure one-way valve to allow any trapped pressure to be routed back into the pressure relief valve.
For a decent picture see here : http://www.autospeed.com/image.html?...&LOC=%2Fimages
I'd be interested as to whether any of you "Ball Spring" & "Bleed Valve" people have experineced this problem or tried the idea of using a low pressure one-way valve to reduce Wastegate creep.
Any Thoughts or Experiences?
Chris

Sorry to ask the numptie question but I don't quite see the difference.
Surely the Dawes (a Ball Spring + Bleed) is very similar to the first solution of the Pressure Relief Valve (eg Ball Spring device)& Pressure Regulator (Eg Bleed valve).
What point am I missing here?
Cheers,
Chris

I didn't actually look again at the Autospeed posts I admit. But looking at the diagrams now the pressure regulator looks to be in line. When I tried that it was crap with the Dawes. Bleed works much better and is more stable and also solves the gearchange boost creep/spike issues.
