Default Cant get first when cold???

When i first start the car in the morning it wont enagage first properly when cold??

Have to leave it on the drive for 5 mins before it will work.

Any ideas what it could be.

Edit just done a different search and found that it may be the clutch fluid or it may need bleeding.

What oil will i need for my 03 blobeye sti ppp (type uk)

cheers

Quite normal with many high performcance car/gearboxes/clutches but that may not be specific for your car? My 350z was the same & so is my Spec C, though its only sticky for a few minutes.

yeah only for a few mins ( checked all fluid levels in the car are they are all fine)

It only happens first thing in the morning and then when warm i have no probs.

As long as its not a sign of something going then i can live with it.

Thanks for the help guys

Have you tried popping it into another gear then back to 1st (it may jiggle the gear set).
