Hey peeps need some help, I have got a noise coming from the front of the car. It only manifests itself when I am reversing and on full steering lock it sounds like the rubber cv boots but they look fine.(I think but then I am no mechanic ) the wheels don't seem to be catching any thing either their the standard wheels and suspension. Thanks in advance peeps

If you have a non standard downpipe this noise can come form your steering coloum rubbing off the downpipe.

I had this problem untill I went an bought a magnex downpipe.

Does what it says on the tin and more

I GET THE SAME NOISE MATE, ESP WHEN ON FULL LOCK AND REVERSING... IT SOUNDS LIKE I HAVE RUN OVER A PLASTIC BOTTLE OR SOMET...

I HAVE A MAGNEX DECAT DOWNPIPE ON TOO.

Now I am even more confused melinator had the noise, though now fixed due to a new Magnex down pipe. As for andy this noise reared its ugly head after he got the Magnex down pipe fitted. Think its time for the dealer to sort it out. Will post up the dealer diagnoses. Hope its covered by the warranty!!
