High EGT readings from defi gauge.
#1
My car is in the course of a remap, but my egts seem to be incredibly high. At boost I am reaching 900 degrees. and even on cruise with fuelling sortwed, egts are still higher than they should be.
The lambda sensor does not indicate I am running lean, infact we are guessing that an offset in the loom is causing it to display richer than it is.
The mapping is being done by someone I trust completely so I have no doubt it is not suspect. I am questioning the accuracy of the gauge.
Has anyone else had any experience with the defi egt gauge or assuming it is fine, can anyone suggest what could be happeing to make these things occur?
