Engine oil
#1
There seems to be alot of confusion about oils being too thin.I am
not an engineer but understand that the upper viscosity number is the
relevant number to judge if an oil is too thin or not when hot. The
upper number together with the viscosity index- which NOT all
manufacturers publish - will tell you if the oil is suitable. The
higher the index the more stable the oil. I stand to be corrected.
