just a quick question regarding the standard clutch and gearbox n a 99 uk turbo, basicly dont wnat to stretch it too far and pushing its limits and i understand that different boxes may variey but

what is a safe power bhp and tourque for a 1999 uk turbo gearbox and clutch

any pointers would be great

330ish on gearbox
clutch, well mine slipped at 270ish but could be worn -same car as yours

Ideally both..... it really depends on driving stlye, i have 315 bhp, and am very hard on transmissions... and mine's fine.... although i shouldn;t have said that should i....

i thought the 350 was deemed the sensible limit.... for both bhp and lbft's....
