Talking change ratio...

Hi again just a quick one.
Can you change the ratio of the fifth gear in the gearbox so there a better top end because my wrx top out at about 150mph

For most people, 150mph is fast enough! Do you have quite a high cruising rpm (70mph)?

Yes you can. Some fit UK 5th's as the cruising (at 70 mph of course) is very relaxed.

Might not be so easy as that. A higher gearing quite often maens that it won't rev out in 5th or 6th - so you end up at 150 mph but with lower revs.

Tune the car to breathe and remap it for higher performance and maybe it'll happen BUT just changing 5th might have no effect at all.
