changing the clutch
Is there a guide anywhere to changing the clutch on a N/A flat four? I just aquired a legacy for the a straight swap of a rover 620 , its had new rear bearings and brakes all round recently and only done 78k but the clutch is quite simply goosed. Ive got a clutch kit here and Im guessing its best to lift the engine? Im not shy with a set of spanners and there isnt much I dont have in the way of tools.

Thanks but a bit too late, done the clutch swap in just 3 hours along with alt belt and filters. Not too bad considering Ive never worked on a flat four before. I just whipped the engine out, hardest part was freeing the bell housing from the steel dowels, must of been a genius that decided steel dowels were required in an alloy block, cue the rust.
