i have currentlyonly had my impreza for around a month but after the first couple of weeks it seemed slower nt that u can get slow in an impreza but you know what i mean....neway i have just been out init tnite and wen u boot it at 6000 revs it stops lik stutters then kicks in again!is this because it is loosing boost??and if so isit a big job??

 

Sounds like your maf sensor, this is located between air filter element and inlet to turbo take it out and clean it with brake cleaner or carb cleaner. More info would help car year spec mods

cheers 4 that....its a 1996 wrx with 300 bhp had new air filter exhaust system dump valve etc...the reason i say loosing boost is because a m8 of mine has a 500 bhp evo and he had same prob which turned out to be loosing boost.

 

a car of that age could well be coil packs breaking down,
