hey i just replaced my unbranded dump valve with a twin piston baileys,. now at low revs wen i back off throttle i get nice little sorta wastegate flutter sound coming from my blitz power induction kit, but at end of it it makes funny louder sound that doesnt sound right!anyone else had this with a baileys? put the old valve back on and its gone! fooked valve reckon or just the way a baileys is??????

 

That sound about right to me. How does the car idle with the baileys? Is it an adjustable type?

 

I possibly have a "noise-a-like" I fitted a blitz dump valve first ,vented to atmosphere when I loaded the throttle up but no other time. Then a few weeks laiter(?) fitted a hks racing suction kit . Then I can hear the car sucking/roaring ,let off the throttle and a spring type noise.It seems odd but has been like this weeks ,first I thought it was the induction kit moving back and forth on the bracket .After inspection the bracket was too stiff for this, the car runs/drives fine.

 

nah its not adjustable, whats weird is that for the first day or two dint make the strange sound, and check engine light came on, reset it & fine since....

 

How does it idle?

 

absolutely fine !

 

If the DV don't suit you will find the car does run correctly. Any of this?

 

hi i fitted 1 of these and sounded ok then fitted a front mount intercooler and now it flutters when you come off the gas 3500rmp down, 9000rpm down a big wooooosh sounds smart and makes people turn round

 

oh yer i forgot to say i think it mite of changed when i had the fuel mod done as well, this stops you from melting piston number 4 as most do buy under fueling,
