Default Urgent gearbox advice for my bugeye 2001

Hi

The reason its urgent is that im calling the bloke tonight to buy his 6 speed sti gearbox.

But i just need some reassurance that it will be a stright swap.

I hope im right in thinking that all i will need is just a 6 speed box as i can use my existing rear diff and prop etc?

Thanks for your speedy replys

If both are uk then it should be a stright swap, if its a jap into a uk you will need the rear diff too.

yes you will need the linkages, as the 6 speeder has a coller to raise to select reverse, iirc
