Gearbox Advice
I have a 1995 JDM WRX with a 2.2L closed deck fully forged engine and a P1 box. The box is making a light metallic rattle on the overun this has only just started, 3rd gear syncro is F*****d as well but has been for a year !
What would be the replacement options/cost, im using the car as a daily driver and doing 500 miles a week, the P1 box is good but the 5th is a bit short!
Would i get away with a U.K box, the engine revs to 8k and is roughly 300/300 so it will need to last!
Im tempted by the u.k for fuel economy as well, ideas greatly appreciated!
Is the final ratio in the u.k longer than the P1?
