Maybe they all think it is OK. But in the temple of power and torque worship it would have to come off... [the dump valve]

Hi there
Just been chatting with John Banks about the device. Got chatting about having an atmos DV and how the overfueling would affect how the device worked. Anyone else have this setup? Any probs? Anyone know why there would be a prob?
Cheers
Ian

Suggested Ian ask to see if any of you guys had any thoughts as I don't know anything about DV except that you all recommended I didn't get one unless I wanted noise, and certainly not a dump to atmos. As we understand it the MAF overreads the amount of air because of the leak and leads to excessive richness. Apart from losing power any potential problem with the Dawes - Ian is hopefully coming round tomorrow night to fit it and I don't want his car to blow up (!), but it will be too dark to rig up lambda monitoring at this point. Presumably overfuelling is not so much of a problem, but wanted to also hear it from folk with experience rather than my guesses...
