I am wanting to swap the back box on my MY00 sport special. Current exhaust is all standard.

Can i wap any BB on to my existing centre, or will some king of interface/adaptor be needed. I am asuming that the diameter of my centre will be different to that of the bb? Peeps are often selling them in the private section but I dont know what will fit

Will it invalidate my 3year/60k mile waranty

 

My experience with the dealers near me is - anything other than subaru equipment will invalidate your warranty.

I was going to get a Magnex BB 208 then when I found out about the warranty issue enquired on the wr sport BB and found the 276+vat just a little OTT.

Having said that I want a better BB but dont want too much noise the missus will nag!

With the warrenty, I think what people have found is that unless the replacement part is found to have been the cause of the failure, it doesn't invalidate it. And a changed BB is unlikely to do much
It does seem to depend on the dealer. If the one you currently use doesn't like it, use another. Pretty simple fix!

 

HI THERE GOT A 98MY WITH THAT TWIN THING ....NOT NICE ,,,PUT A STI BACK BOX THAT I GOT OF HER FOR £30 FIT GOOD LOOKS MUCH BETTER SOUND NOT MUCH DIFFERENT.CHEAP.
