I am wanting to swap the back box on my MY00 sport special. Current exhaust is all standard.

Can i wap any BB on to my existing centre, or will some king of interface/adaptor be needed. I am asuming that the diameter of my centre will be different to that of the bb? Peeps are often selling them in the private section but I dont know what will fit :(

Will it invalidate my 3year/60k mile waranty

My experience with the dealers near me is - anything other than subaru equipment will invalidate your warranty.

I was going to get a Magnex BB 208 then when I found out about the warranty issue enquired on the wr sport BB and found the 276+vat just a little OTT.

Having said that I want a better BB but dont want too much noise the missus will nag!

With the warrenty, I think what people have found is that unless the replacement part is found to have been the cause of the failure, it doesn't invalidate it. And a changed BB is unlikely to do much ;)
It does seem to depend on the dealer. If the one you currently use doesn't like it, use another. Pretty simple fix!
