Was parked up with the car idling, and for some reason the ALS kicked in of its own accord, any idea why it would do this ?

Praps she'd been over boosting earlier and was running too hot!

Maybe you "accidently" hit the ALS switch on the dashboard ?

Ah! someone else with ALS! I think i remember u at a rolling road sesh at powerstation years ago.

All the ALS switch does is earth one of the pins in the ECU so its possible its a loose connection... Or if ur unlucky like me, ur ECU is buggered (My ECU refuses to go off the ALS map no matter what (its back at pectel n they said its fooked!).
