Default DCCD Info required...

I have a 93 RA tarmac rally car with a bill gwynne dog box....

The car runs the standard centre diff at present, so would it be possible to bolt on the DCCD transfer case?? Or is it more involved than that.

I have read Graham's ( 911) thread with some interest, and the wiring doesn't present too much of a problem to me.

The current box is out of the car at present and this would be an ideal opportunity to do the upgrade if it were possible

thanks

Jon:

Through all my fights with my dccd (I can spot the 'dccd' phrase in any text from a mile away) David at Welcome to the API website and Paul at www.zenperformance.com know how to answer you accuratly.

They (esp David) can also supply parts. You should see API's warehouse of parts.

Thanks graham....
I will try and give david or paul a call tomorrow if i get the time..

If it can be done I may well go down the NEETRONICS route after reading your thread...Looks like a nice piece of kit

Does anyone else have an answer/opinion if the Transfer case will fit??

thanks

Neetronics are about to bring out a demon 'Rally' version of the unit. You should chat to them to.

There are a number of options. DCCD complete transfer box, KAAZ plated centre for an early transfer box, STI uprated viscous unit for early and late transfer box, Modena plated diff and new drop gears (possibly available for early and late transfer boxes).

Plated might be a good option to consider.

So whats the difference between the two transfer boxes then?? Will they both bolt up/fit to the early 752 gearbox housing??
Or am i only limited to the early one from a 96/97 car??

sorry for all the questions...
