Default STI Flywheel

A couple of months ago i changed my clutch to a exedy one, at the same time i sourced a sti lightened flywheel. It was very thin compaired to the stock wrx one and was much harder material, maybe a crom- oly, says my mate who skimmed it for me. It also had holes going around the outer edge. it had sti printed on it next to the spig bearing. My question is, is this a standard item on a sti? Seen inside a few sti's and have never seen this type of fly??

What you have is the STi upgrade flywheel....it is an extra cost item available in Japan. It weighs 5.5kg as opposed to the 8.6kg of the standard STi 6 speed - assuming we are talking about the newage STi cars
It is made from Chrom/moly as you say. Quite an expensive item you have there.
