Question How long to change a front drive shaft boot ?

I am taking the car ( 1998 vintage Forester ) in tomorrow to have a split front inner drive shaft boot replaced. I intend to wait while it is done. Do I need a thick book to read or a thin one ? In other words, how long should the job take if it is all straightforward ?
Thanks

JBL
