No fifth gear
I have a MY95 WRX and have had problems with fifth for a while in that is would select but then have little or no drive with slight grinding as it took up drive. Now however when you select fifth it is as if you are in neutral, absolutley no drive whatsoever. There are no nasty noises and the gear stick locates in the fifth position without any problems.
What could have happened? The box has been out not long ago to have second replaced is there something that was not done correctly when it was rebuilt that can have caused this?
