In Gear Speed figures for EBC on 6 speed?
Anyone know the approx max speeds (at say 6000 rpm) for each gear of a uk 6 speed box? I need to know them for when I purchase the Apexi AVC-r boost controller which has individual gear boost control (via ecu speed sensor signals).

Figures per 1000rpm
1st 5.3mph
2nd 8.1mph
3rd 10.9mph
4th 14.2 mph
These are the same as a JDM 6sp.... as for 5th ang 6th I dont know as the ratios are different to my JDM box.
Regards,
Shaun.

Er, I was told by a cossie tuning m8 that best way to set it up is in "manual" mode and set boost for each "gear" via road speed...
As long as I get maximum spool up and solid boost at top I dont care how its done, so guess I dont need to do the above. Still not got the AVC-R yet so no instructions (still waiting for my mapper).

All you do is drive in each gear in the relevent menu point and press" enter" to set the gear judge value in the slected gear point, no need to know the ratios etc at all.
Don't forget that you will probably end up with me sorting the base "mapping" on it and you fine tuning as you drive with it.

cheers
