diff light flashing on 05 reg sti
hi my mates car is playng up the green diff light is flashing at the bottom and if u try to use the dccd nothink willl happen it will ust keep flashing what could be the problem?? any help would be great help it doing his head in!!!
forgot to mention the front wheels will not lock it is in permanent back wheel drive

Thats emergency mode, may also be in 'diff lock' so dont drive it far, in my case it saw the ABS that was faulty (hand brake light came on too) but i suspect yours is just a dccd controller or gearbox fault.

yes, in my case the whole ABS controller was fooked.
The diagnostics monitor was also saying abs fault on mine, dealer wouldnt beleave it though as hed never had one go before, so spent 3 days looking for a wiring fault.
