Bigger injectors & or higher fuel pressure
97 UK car currently with 240bhp on exhaust and Walboro fuel pump.
I am changing the turbo and getting an Apexi PFC so I am expecting between 300 and 330bhp.
I understand my standard injectors will be running out of grunt at about 300bhp, so can I get away with a fuel pressure regulator and run at slightly higher pressure or do I need to get some 440 injectors ?
Would appreciate some guidence on the injectors as well. Do I have Phase 1, 1.5 or 2 ? And where can I get some from.
eBay currently has some standard 1995 RA injectors, but they are Grey so i think they are the same as mine anyway.
Thanks in advance.

I've been told that the standard FPR can misbehave when you get over 300bhp, not sure what the current thinking is on that though. The preferred solution seems to be bigger injectors.

You need bigger injectors for circa 330bhp, just raising the fuel pressure on 380's won't be enough.
440's may still need raised fuel pressure, depending on how rich/lean it's mapped, and on what rolling road you want to get your 330bhp !
550's is probably the better option, and will allow some flexibility for later, especially if you then fit an adjustable reg too.
Mark.
