hi have noticed a new noise from my gearbox when backing off from power is grating noise but is fine when you put your foot down no noise but happens when you back off and is braking through each gear car is 98 uk turbo and have only noticed it since upping the power after remap,any one had same prob and what was the cause.

Got exactly the same problem. Anyone know what might be the cause? My car is a 98 turbo

 

changed rear diff oil and seems to have gone or got alot quiter try the same

 

Hi mate, how do you cheque the rear diff oil? and how much oil does it take. Mine is making similar noises.
