Could be Crank case position sensor or cam position sensor. Common on most Scoobs as being a bit dodgy. Speak to a dealership and they will probably advise new sensors. Then again, so would I at approx. £100 each :wow:

If poss., try and find someone else with a 95WRX and borrow their sensors for a run/day. They are situated (I believe) on the right hand side of the engine bay (looking from the front). You will require a 10mm spanner which will fit both and take approx. 5 mins each to fiddle with.

Jacko (repeating what experienced others have told me!)
