And what oil should it have?

Sorry, must have missed this. Rear diff is 3.545:1 and it should have 75W90 gear oil. Open diff to the best of my knowledge. IE not suretrak or LSD.

deffo has an lsd fitted and to the front as well i think, the manual explains about the lsd but states 75w90 gl-5 oil to be used -offical line from subaru is the only oil to be used is a "magic potion" developed by shell available only to subaru 80w90 @ double the normal price i put syntrax in mine no probs so far. nothing in the manual about having to use friction modifiers.
