Wink

Last week I posted a thread on my starting problem when cold. It was really getting me down alot!!!.

Anyway thanks to Scoobynet and it's knowledgable Members (Thanks Pete C. and others who posted replies), it was diagnosed as the water temperature sensor (ECU) as being knackered.

I bought said item last week and fitted it on Thursday, and yes it was a barsteward to fit. Had to remove most of the pipe work etc. I then did an ECU reset to clear the memory of the fault.

Ok, everyday since, the car has started like a dream (just as it had done before this horrible nightmare) and I can now hopefully say (Touchwood) that the problem is solved.

The reason I have posted is basically to say that if it was not for Scoobynet the likes of us who are not that technically up on Subaru's are given a chance to be that little bit more knowledgable.

Thankyou Scoobynet and it's members!!!!!!!!

Cool

I'll second that mate! This board has proved invaluable to me at times, especially when I had my head gasket probs.
Glad your car is ok Muddy! How are things BTW, long time no see!
Cheers
Leigh
