Default How fast in 4th with WRX STI VI Type-R?

Hello fellas,

I have a question one of you guys might be able te answer, or knows somebody who can.

I am going to do the following engine swap:

I now have a MY99 GTT. Alle original stuf (Engine, gearbox, diffs, axles, hub's etc, etc.) so all the moving parts exept the RHD quickrack will be changed for the same thing from a MY00 WRX-STI version 6 Type-R.
So except from the 4-door body and interiour, I will have the complete engine and drivetrain of the type-R.
Wiring will be hooked to my GTT-ECU, which is plug and play.

Now I am wondering if any of you can tell me what the short closeratio-gearbox will bring me in each gear.
Redline is set on 7500rpm, but 7800 can be reached. (The ECU is going to be remapped (ECUtek) so maybe we will put the rev-limit on 8000rpm.)
But driving 75miles/h in fifth would mean 4000rpm with the type-R gearbox, and thats a bit too much for normal use...
I know, performance-wise its a perfect ratio, but because I am going to use the car also as my daily driver its not what I want.

I have the opportunity to remain the original fifthgear-ratio (GTT) instead of the very short Type-R one, as an overdrive to keep it comfortable at normal traveling cruisespeeds. 75miles/h would remain the normal 2900rpm I have now.
1,2,3 and 4 then would be very short, but there will be a gap between 4 and 5.

This is the reason I want to know what speed I can reach in the original Type-R fourth gear.

If the gap is too big, I might consider to make a different choise.

Main question is will the Type-R fourth gear reach enough speed, so I won't fall back too far in revs?
I other words, what speed can I reach in 4?

Thanxs for all answers!

Just found this googling around,...............from Scoobynet

So what does the short gearing top end do then. as in version 4 Type R and RA`s

About 19.4 MPH per 100 RPM. So about 156MPH, as the V5.

You can dow what I Did in my V4 Type r. and put te 5th Gear and Synchro from the same year UK car. It makes the 5th Taller, like the V-Limted (174mph).

But if you do, you will realise just wahta a different step Vlimited have from 4th to 5th, as opposed from 1st-2nd-3rd-4th.

It no too bad and you can still read warp speed in the first four.

Still the question remains however.

What is "warp-speed" in fourth?

I'm pretty sure (though I can't remember where I found this out) that flat out in 4th in a Type R is 106mph (at 8,250rpm limit)
