API..I know you will know the answer
I currently have a 95 WRX with the original five speed gearbox, the gearbox has covered 98,000 miles.
After modding my car with a new 2.5 engine etc etc................I bought a paddle clutch from Mark (top bloke) at Lateral performance............So engine and clutch sorted.
Now I know my gearbox is hanging on for dear life, my question is, I can buy a Jap six speed box from a supplier near me, and the rear diff etc etc,
Can I keep the paddle clutch from my car that I have had for a year and a half ???? and put it on the six speed box ?
Secondly I will get a new flywheel when the time comes, do I get a five speed flywheel to match the clutch?
Or do I get a six speed flywheel to match the box?
Or should I get the clutch and flywheel for the six speed and be done with it
Its just the thought of paying out for the box and rear diff......then having to shell out for another clutch and flywheel.
Come on give it to me
Kev

Kev, I'd go with the original flywheel and clutch that you have fitted now. There is no need to change from a 5 speed clutch/flywheel type set up to a 6 speed set up.

Top Bloke
See I knew you would know
Thankyou David, that's what I wanted to know and hear, just saved £400 plus for a new clutch.
Thanks again
