Default Oil pressure and Guage

Hi

Have posted in general tech but getting no response so trying here.

What is good and bad oil pressure for a 97 Classic ?

Also anyone got any ideas about thread for a T piece so I can have pressure guage and warning sensor at the same time.

Thanks

cold idle pressure ~90psi
hot idle pressure ~30psi
driving pressure ~90ps

might vary a little depending on how worn the engine is and oil used

there are plugs about the block which can be used or buy a hub which fits between the oil filter and block with several mounts for sensors

Try http://www.lmadistribution.co.uk/ and under gauge fittings there is LMA095.
This will allow you to measure pressure and still have the ENGINE DEAD light to be linked at the same time.
