I am having a exhaust fitted tomorrow from the turbo back and the will be going to wrc for a remap later on this week.

Will there be a risk of detination if i drive it for a few days or on the way to wrc?

 

I wouldn't of thought so. My car had a filter and exhaust fitted for about 6 months before i got it mapped.
A lot of scoobies change there exhaust and never get as far as remapping there car and have no probs so personally i wouldnt worry about it

 

did you replace it from the turboback or mid-section?

 

Even if there is a slight risk of det, it will only be when on full boost, so pootling around for a few days will be the peace of mind you're looking for

 

Just keep it off boost and it should be fine. I drove mine over 100 miles for a re-map with a full decat without a problem.

Forgot to say, I also drove mine with full decat, FMIC, bigger injectors, tubular headers, bigger fuel pump etc for 200 miles off boost with no probs. The ECU's closed loop fuelling sorts it all out - if you drive like miss daisy you'll be fine!
