Default cranks

i know that you can put a 2.5ltr crank into a 2.2ltr engine and it will improve the engine, but can you do similar things with a 2ltr engine??? as in add either a 2.2ltr crank or a 2.5ltr crank and get better and stronger engines ???

Steve,

Yes, you can fit a 2.5 crank, but if you stroke either engine, they will need custom "stroker" pistons.

Mark.

yes you can make the 2.0 a stroker. It becomes a 2.12 and it's just that little extra wich makes the TD05/06-20G run much better as on stock engine. I ran this setup for 37000 km's with an CR of 7.9:1 @ 1.5 bar of boost till redline.

Send me a PB and i'll tell you what you need to know

will i be able to drive this car without a remap or will it have to be done as soon as the engine is stroked ???? due to needing an sva test on the vehicle a remap will cause problems !!!!!
