Default Classic WRX Gearing

Ive recently read a post on here which states most of you get to just under 70mph in 2nd gear and 90mph in third.

Took my car out for a spin the other day and discovered that im nowhere near that

The cars a standard 95 WRX

It pulls to about 55 in second and is just over 75 when going into fourth

Im going to fit a boost gauge this weekend to see what pressure its running at but if that comes back fine does anybody have any ideas to what this could be? or anyone had similar?

Just under 70 in second is a little bit inflated to say the least.

The gearing on your WRX import will be different to that of a UK car.
The WRX's gearing is not as long as the UK version and more franetic,
hence the quicker 0-60 times.

I'm not quite sure about your boost having any influence on the speeds
in each gear

Boost is irrelevant to gearing, but being a wrx you're car has jap diffs, hence different to uk cars.....
