Mine have always done it despite having them tightend on several occasions. Try getting them tightend up first. A small squirt of WD40 onto the belts while they're moving is a short term fix.
I was told that they get bit stiff due to getting cooked by the heat of the engine and that makes them sqeak, a new set of belts is the cure.
