Engine noise when cold

Default Engine noise when cold

When I first start my car in the morning it makes a chugging, ticking kind of noise. Once it has warmed up the noise seems to disappear. Is this normal?

Dont know if thats an issue on new age cars. Anyone else know ?

Common on classics, disappears when warm though. Dont know about new age????
